HCC Classroom to Career Success Series makes a powerful impact on future entrepreneurs

The HCC Alumni Association’s inaugural event in the Classroom to Career Success Series, Entrepreneurship & Innovation in the 21st Century, was a tremendous success on February 19. More than 60 eager students connected with exceptional entrepreneurs who once sat in the same HCC classrooms as alumni.

Accomplished entrepreneurs, who are HCC alumni, served as panelists; Khara Breeden, CEO, TX Forensic Nurse Examiners, Flor Dimassi, CEO, GlobalSpeak Translations, Igor Lucic, Technical Director, Emergent & Co. as well as Centrell Reed, Founder, CReed Global Media, who graduated from the HCC Goldman Sachs 10K Small Businesses program. HCC Alumnus, Dr. Ravi Brahmbatt, served as the moderator for the Panel. Dr. Brahmbatt is the Director of Entrepreneurial Initiatives at the West Loop Campus.

This innovative series exemplifies HCC's commitment to transforming academic excellence into real-world success by connecting current students with accomplished alumni. Students and alumni eagerly networked with the panelists, receiving personalized advice on launching businesses, hiring strategies, and overcoming entrepreneurial challenges.
