Ruffy Sulaiman, a culinary maestro with African roots, has woven a remarkable tapestry of experiences. Despite his rigorous academic demands while at HCC, Ruffy persevered, working as a cook to fund his education. Today, Ruffy is the Executive Chef at the Hilton Americas Hotel and his unwavering belief in HCC's quality education and affordability is evident in his advice to aspiring culinary students: "Go to HCC. That is a school where you can get the education, and you don't have to be indebted for the rest of your life."
