Career Coach is a user-friendly tool for career outlook and career planning resources used by high school teachers and counselors, tutors, non-profit organizations, workforce centers, workforce boards, and researchers.

  • Take an interest assessment to see how their interests match with careers and education.
  • Inventory their skills and receive personalized career and educational recommendations.
  • Explore their career matches with data on wages, job growth, skills, and more.
  • Find related programs at HCC.
  • Apply for jobs at industry partners.

 

Employers can:

  • Post jobs directly to relevant career pages on your Career Coach site.
  • Receive notifications when candidates submit a resume to their postings.
  • View applicants, download resumes, and leave candidate feedback.

Interest Assessments

Choose between brief or detailed assessments to find out what your interests are and how they relate to the world of work. Match with career fields and educational opportunities that align with your interests.

 

Skills Inventory

Create a skills inventory by adding your education and job history, uploading a recent resume or CV, connecting a LinkedIn profile, and listing skills that you have and skills that you wish to learn. Match with job openings and educational opportunities that align with your career or the career you wish to have.

 

Job Search

Access career outlook information based on your interests and skills, search regional job openings in the area, review information about educational requirements for specific fields of study, and provides direct links to any related education or training offered by HCC in these areas.

 

Local Data Wages

Find out the entry level wages, the medium wages and high wages for each career field in High School or less, Vocational Certificate, Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree and Graduate degree.
